Pauras Rege is a Director and Co-founder of Tiaki Capital and an accomplished Chartered Accountant with more than a decade of experience across accounting, investment analysis, and corporate advisory. He specialises in transactions advisory, with deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, divestments, business growth strategies, succession planning, private capital raising, capital restructures, debt advisory, and management buyouts.

He has a strong track record of originating and executing successful transactions both in New Zealand and internationally. Pauras works closely with domestic and global networks of investors and business owners to identify, invest in, and scale high-potential businesses. He is also a shareholder and director of several privately held companies in New Zealand.

In 2025, Pauras was awarded a Fellowship by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) in recognition of his contribution to the profession. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New Zealand before moving to ASB Bank. He later served as an Investment Manager at Colliers International New Zealand Ltd and, prior to co-founding Tiaki Capital, was a Director in the Corporate Business Sales division at ABC Business Sales Ltd.

Pauras is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and currently sits on the Boards of the Aotearoa NZ Association of Social Workers (ANZASW), Event Finda Stadium (EFS), and New Zealand Asian Leaders (NZAL). He also holds a number of advisory board roles and is actively involved with the Institute of Directors, including serving on the Young Directors’ Committee. At CA ANZ, he serves on a Local Committee and previously chaired the Auckland Emerging Leaders Committee.

Outside of his professional commitments, Pauras enjoys cricket, golf, community theatre, travel, and exploring diverse cuisines. He is also deeply committed to mentoring university and high school students.
