Pauras is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in accounting, investment analysis, and corporate advisory. He collaborates with both global and local networks of investors and business owners to invest in and promote the growth of companies.

Pauras provides guidance on various financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business expansion, succession planning, private financing, capital restructuring, debt advisory, and management buyouts. He has a successful track record in facilitating investments and completing transactions in diverse sectors such as education, healthcare, construction, professional services, engineering, property, aged-care, manufacturing, hospitality, security, transport and logistics, import-export, distribution, IT, and technology.

Pauras started his career at PwC in New Zealand and later joined ASB Bank. He then worked as an Investment Manager in the Business Sales & Capital Solutions division at Colliers International New Zealand Ltd. Prior to co-founding Tiaki Capital, Pauras was as a Director in the Corporate division at ABC Business Sales Ltd.

In addition to his professional roles, Pauras is a shareholder and director of a private New Zealand Childcare Company. He holds positions as the Chair of the Auckland Emerging Leaders Committee at the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), and as a board member of the Aotearoa NZ Association of Social Workers (ANZASW) and New Zealand Asian Leaders (NZAL). Pauras is also involved in the Young Director's Committee within the Institute of Directors (IoD) and is an active member of the Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand Inc (INFINZ).

Outside of his professional commitments, Pauras enjoys playing cricket and golf, participating in community theatre, traveling, and exploring different cuisines. He also engages with university and high school students through mentoring programs.
