Pauras is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in accounting, investment analysis and corporate advisory. He works with global and local network of investors and business owners to invest in and grow aspirational businesses.  He also advises on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, business growth, succession planning, private financing, capital restructuring, debt advisory and management buyouts. Pauras has a proven track record of facilitating investments and completing successful transactions across a wide range of sectors, including education (PTE/childcare), healthcare, construction, professional services, engineering, property, aged-care, manufacturing, hospitality, security, transport & logistics, import-export, distribution (wholesale/retail), IT and technology (SaaS). 

Pauras began his career with PwC, New Zealand and subsequently joined ASB bank, New Zealand. Thereafter he was a part of Colliers International New Zealand Ltd as an Investment Manager in their Business Sales & Capital Solutions division. Most recently, Pauras was a Director in the Corporate division with ABC Business Sales Ltd whereby he successfully executed M&A transactions, carried out partial divestments and provided debt advisory for businesses and commercial/residential property projects.

Pauras is a Chair of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ) Emerging Leaders Committee and a part of CA ANZ’s Local Leaders Committee.  He is also a board member of New Zealand Asian Leaders (NZAL), part of Young Director’s Committee within Institute of Directors (IoD), and an active member of Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand Inc (INFINZ).

Outside of the world of business, Pauras plays cricket, golf and does community theatre. He enjoys travelling and trying out new cuisines. Pauras also works with university and high school kids through mentoring programmes.
